In a dramatic ending the Jefferson Park Penguins staged a comeback and held on to win over the Columbus Crowd by the count of 4 to 3. Jefferson Park won the game with a rally in the top of the 9th inning scoring 2 runs. After two were out Russell Branyan keyed the rally when he drew a walk. Derek Jeter followed and he bombed a two-run dinger (his 4th of the season). Jefferson Park had 8 hits overall, while Columbus had 4. The winning pitcher was Juan Rincon(2-0) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Brendan Donnelly(0-2) was the loser in relief. 'I pin this one on my own shoulders,' Donnelly said. 'The bottom line is I didn't get the job done. Our fans deserve better than this.'
